The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
